Garden Waste Collection

South Somerset District Council introduced a Garden Waste Collection (On Repayment) Service in our area in October. The cost for the initial period from October to 31 March 2010 is £60 per household. Anyone interested in buying into the scheme is invited to phone 01635 462462
North Cadbury Allotments

Sadly it is taking much longer than anticipated to provide the allotments that have been asked for by a number of people. However, it now seems that a way through the problems may have been found and there is a good chance that the allotments in Ridgeway Lane will be ready for use early next year. Anyone who has not already registered an interest and would like to have an allotment should let the Parish Clerk know.
