Tuesday 30 August to Saturday 3 September 2022
National Highways operates, maintains and improves England's motorways and major A-roads. This email is to let you know we will shortly be carrying out essential maintenance works on the A303 between Podimore and Sparkford roundabouts.
The work will start on the evening of Tuesday 30 August and finish on the morning of Saturday 3 September and will take place overnight between the hours of 9pm and 4am.
To minimise disruption, we'll work during the night when there are fewer vehicles on the road. During the day we will keep the road open as usual.
The work is currently programmed as follows:
Tuesday 30 August - Saturday 3 September - full night closure between Podimore and Sparkford roundabouts for 4 nights from 9pm until 4am the following morning.
There will be a fully signed diversion route in place during the full overnight closures, but please allow extra time for your journey.
Access for residents will be maintained but may involve a short delay depending on our stage of work. Please show a copy of this postcard to our gatemen who will escort you through the works if necessary.
We'll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes. Please monitor www.trafficengland.com to keep updated.
